‘Tis the season for sparkle and what better place to find holiday pizzazz than the premiere of the movie New Year’s Eve?

The cast of the new flick came dressed to impress. All the men looked dashing in suits, and naturally for the women it was all about the dress.

Sequins, crystals, lace, and even feathers — nothing is too over the top for New Year’s Eve. But with such outstanding gowns, what jewels do you wear? These six stars show us how it’s done by keeping the jewels minimal, yet high-impact.

Abigail Breslin and Lea Michele kept it sweet and simple with halo earrings. Abigail’s somewhat resemble Gemvara’s Margarita Earrings, while Lea’s were a bit larger and a drop style.

Hillary Swank, Christine Lakin, and Sofia Vergara opted for large chandelier-style earrings while keeping the rest of their jewels minimal. This effect brings all the focus up to the face and puts a little glimmer in the eye.

Lastly, Katherine Heigl went bold in a statement necklace and diamond stud earrings. These were the just the right pieces for her strapless frock and short bob. Once again, the jewels brightened up her face and drew all attention upwards.
